    Description

    Responsibilities

    Technical & Program Leadership

    1. Provide vision and leadership to the development of the project strategic plan, work plan, and project monitoring in collaboration with stakeholders.
    2. Oversee all aspects of the project, including staff management and operations.
    3. Develop strong relationships with donors and government partners to maximize resources.
    4. Act as the primary contact liaison with government entities and provide strategic support.
    5. Cultivate alliances with key stakeholders to advance programs.

    Project Management and Reporting:

    1. Lead the annual work planning process and ensure timely submission of project reports.
    2. Identify issues and risks promptly and make necessary program adjustments.
    3. Design and implement a plan to track project data/results for informed decision-making.
    4. Integrate community approaches and capacity building into all activities.
    5. Ensure compliance with donor policies and regulations.

    Human Resource & Financial Management

    1. Mentor, support, and manage a team of staff to achieve program goals.
    2. Ensure programmatic and financial integrity, on-time implementation, and meeting targets.
    3. Manage financial, procurement, and administration needs within policies.
    4. Develop and track project budgets in collaboration with finance and project staff.

    Required Qualifications

    Advanced degree: Public Health, Health Administration, International Health, or related field
    Master's degree: Public Health or relevant field
    Experience: At least 10 years in SRHR/HIV/AGYW/AYP programs
    Skills: Program management, budgeting, capacity building, project systems
    Language: Excellent verbal and written English skills
    Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
    Travel: Ability to travel nationally and internationally
