    Description

    A research site management organization is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator to work 20-25 hours per week, handling research activities of ongoing clinical trials. This position involves working with patients and physicians in Boca Raton.

    Summary:

    The Clinical Research Coordinator conducts research for medical device clinical trials, ensuring full compliance with regulations and interacting with patients and physicians.

    Responsibilities:

    • Recruits patients for research studies, explains study purposes, and obtains informed consent.
    • Provides patient education on research protocol.
    • Observes and collects data for research procedures.
    • Maintains hospital credentials.
    • Coordinates orders for study patient tests and assessments.
    • Performs patient assessments and data collection.
    • Attends meetings related to clinical trials.
    • Maintains inventory of investigational drugs and/or devices.
    • Responds to auditor and monitor requests.
    • Works with physicians to recruit potential research patients.
    • Utilizes computer skills for data management.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Associate of Science in health-related field.
    • Previous clinical research experience is preferred.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organization, self-motivation, and teamwork skills.
