    The
    Transportation Project Manager will join our Westfield, Worcester, or Westwood office (on a hybrid basis) to work on a variety of multidisciplinary transportation projects around the region.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the delivery and project management of traffic and transportation projects
    • BS degree in Civil Engineering (MS Preferred)
    • Professional registration as a Massachusetts Professional Engineer required; licensure in other New England states considered a differentiator
    • Experience both executing and overseeing the development construction bid documents for transportation projects for MassDOT and municipalities in Massachusetts
    • Experience with transportation engineering design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation a plus
    • Must have a working fluency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skill
    • Experience in leading and mentoring junior level staff for both project delivery and professional development

    Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing projects including roadway/highway design, transportation planning studies, traffic impact analysis, parking studies, maintenance and protection of traffic, intersection traffic control design for various traffic, parking and roadway improvement projects for public and private sector clients across New England with a focus on Massachusetts
    • Managing the technical design and preparation of construction documents for transportation, traffic and land use projects for various State, municipal, and private clients
    • Supporting multi-disciplinary projects including bridge design projects and land development projects
    • Conducting business development activities including preparing proposals, meeting and developing clients, engagement in professional organizations, and preparing and delivering presentations
    • Transportation planning, safety engineering, corridor and parking studies
    • Preparation of contract documents, bid documents, technical specifications, quantity and cost estimates
    • Preparation of reports and correspondence
    • Presentations to regulatory, technical, and public audiences, including attending community meetings to support projects
    • Provide project management services, ensuring quality deliverables are completed within schedule and budget
    • Manage junior professional staff; Supervise work prepared by junior professional staff; mentor junior level staff in technical, business development, and project management skills
