    We are looking for an

    Assistant Project Manager

    to join our Fire Alarm team

    As the Assistant Project Manager, you play a crucial role in supporting the overall management and coordination of projects within the Fire Alarm team.

    Contribute to the development of project documentation, track key performance indicators, and provide valuable input to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.


    In this role you will:
    Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing, and application engineering for assigned projects.
    Oversee smaller projects autonomously, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks without constant supervision.
    Ensure projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
    Ensure positive cash flow on all assigned projects.
    Act as the key interface with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction.
    Identify potential project risks and assist in the development and implementation of strategies to minimize the impact.
    Develop and implement strategies for controlling deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
    Utilize financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports.

    Requirements:
    High School diploma or equivalent
    Associate degree or higher preferred, particularly in fields such as project management or construction management.
    1-2 years field service or project management experience
    Knowledge or experience with fire life safety or other similar industries preferred.
    Basic project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
    Developing project financial skills.
    Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
    Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
    Open to filling this position in one of the following cities: Portland, OR or Milton, WA.
    A flexible, hybrid schedule option is available after successful completion of training. You can expect to work 1-2 days remotely and 3-4 days in the office each week.
