    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and the ability to work independently across PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine in Fort Mohave, AZ.

    Responsibilities

    • Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT department in a 126,000 sq ft acute care facility
    • Typical daily caseload of 3–5 patients
    • Procedures include PET/CT imaging and standard Nuclear Medicine studies
    • Equipment includes GE PET and Nuclear Medicine systems
    • EMR system is MedHost
    • Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Every other weekend required
    • No call or float requirements
    • This technologist will be the only tech in the facility and must be comfortable working independently
    • Split time between PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine duties
    • The facility is the only all-private-bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area
    • Required scrub color is Caribbean Blue
    • Weekly orientation is provided

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
    • Experience with both PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine is required
    • AZ Nuclear Medicine License required (license required if applicable)
    • NM certification through ARRT or NMTCB required
    • Current BLS required
    • Must be able to work independently as the sole technologist in the facility
    • Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
    • Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
    • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
    • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
    • RQI certifications are not accepted
