be responsible for
underwriting
Excess Casualty Construction business
according to authority level and established guidelines.
This role reports to our
Head of Construction
Excess Casualty
and is a remote
opportunity

hybrid opportunity based in
one of Vantage's office locations
. Vantage's US colleagues can work anywhere in the United States (excluding US territories and possessions).
The base
salary
expectation
for this role is
between
$
150

and $

. The actual
base salary for the selected candidate may be higher,

Responsibilities
& Accountabilities
Review submissions to ensurealignmentwith risk appetite and business strategy.
Generate new business byworking with brokers and clients to find innovative product deployment methods
.
Analyze complex risks and unusual transaction structures thoroughly and effectively.
Perform underwriting activities for managing all underwriting transactions, service standards, compliance rules, and documentation.
Demonstrate a customer service mindset by proactively
engaging
internal and external contacts.
Collaborate and correspond with internal and external contacts to achieve
a high level
of service and meet client expectations.
Interact directly with various business partners and internal departments.
Meet departmental service standards in place for each process.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned under minimal supervision
.

Ideal Candidate Profile
At least

Excess Casualty
Experience is
required
.
Construction Excess Casualty Experience preferred.
East Coast
Relationships and contact preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to process and adapt to change in a
