Job summary
The primary classroom responsibility will be teaching three sections of theater/acting across a mix of grade levels.A significant out-of-classroom responsibility will be directing the theater co-curricular production during 2 or 3 terms (fall, winter and spring) in collaboration with other performing arts teachers and instructors.
We are looking for candidates who exhibit excellence in the classroom and who can help develop in students the fundamental learning traits outlined in The Deerfield Student and A Framework For Schools.
Beyond the classroom candidates must be prepared to fully engage in the activities that help define a strong residential educational community.
