- Perform testing, repairing and refurbishment of equipment, which can include disassembly/reassembly
- Manage and coordinate shipping and receiving of return hardware (RMA)
- Update firmware and perform product burn-in on hardware, as needed
- Add to the creation and documentation of assembly, repair and test procedures
- Fabricate custom cables and harnesses, as needed
- Communicate with field technicians
- Provide in-field troubleshooting support as needed
- 2-3 years experience in hardware, troubleshooting, and refurbishment
- High school diploma
- Technological savviness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
- Comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently, motivated, proactive demeanor with a passion for learning and creative problem solving
- High proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings (BOM) and follow written instructions
- Solid technical capabilities
- Electrical experience - soldering
- Working with camera lenses and software as well as Linux- based prompts and commands
- Willingness to learn new skills

Hourly Rate and Other Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $28 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
