Job summary

We are one of the largest producers of frozen at sea flatfish, cod, pollock and other groundfish. We manage three trawl catcher-processor vessels that operate in the Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands, and the Gulf of Alaska. We accomplish our mission with a day-in-and-day-out commitment to quality.

The Chief Engineer will supervise engineering staff engaged in operating and maintaining propulsion engines aboard the ship.

Key qualifications include holding an appropriate U.S. Coast Guard Chief Engineer license for an uninspected fishing vessel,
  • An hour or two years experience as a Chief Engineer preferred
  • Able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs
      ,
    • Lifts no more than fifty pounds frequently throughout shift; reaches overhead occasionally when lifting heavy equipment into compartments on occasion;
    • Work closely with crew members from all departments
