- Ability to work in a team environment to plan, coordinate, inspect and oversee project activities of Pavement Marking Restoration.
- Ability to interpret Site Plans
- Apply knowledge and experience towards the inspection of Paving and Pavement Marking installation using required standards and specifications.
- Apply engineering principles in the inspection and documentation of construction activities.
- Oversee and aid in the approval of Field Changes to meet field conditions.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation using eConstruction software.
- Conduct testing of materials following local Standards and Specifications
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control devices to insure they are placed per the approved plan and within required specifications.
- Apply Best Management Practices to safety activities.
- Communicate with various stakeholders including Local, State and Federal Governments
- Ability to Physically perform essential duties such as, Walking, Standing, Bending, and lifting loads weighing up to 80lbs.
- Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or Similar Field.
- 1+ years experience in inspection or Roadway Construction
- Must be current with or able to obtain the following certifications
- Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program (MARTCP)
- ATSSA Pavement Marking Technician Certificate
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience operating computer equipment, software programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Required to work various shifts and on weekends.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
