    POSITION PURPOSE

    This position is responsible for managing and coaching branch staff. As a leader of the branch, this position is responsible for individual and business development activities and strategies that promote core deposit growth by attracting new business and building relationships with new and existing customers. The branch manager leads and executes a business development strategy and partners with all lines of business to ensure that customer relationships are enhanced and deepened.

    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • College preferred.
    • Prior banking experience preferred with extensive knowledge of banking products and services.
    • Prior management experience.
    • Prior enhanced new account knowledge/experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to promote products and services.
    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience with computer operating systems (Windows).
    • MS Office software experience.
    • Basic Math skills.
    • 10 key skills preferred.
    • Ability to make independent decisions with little or no supervision.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents, policies and procedures.
    • Ability to accurately analyze and interpret numerical data.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Always represents Bank in a professional and positive manner. Ensure a positive interaction with customers and non-customers through direct contact and by leading and coaching branch staff.
    • Responsible for obtaining predetermined goals for service, sales and operations.
    • Proactively engage customers to identify additional product and service needs including referrals to other lines of business partners.
    • Provides management in the following areas: scheduling in the retail banking department, Bank policies, procedures and processes, State and Federal retail compliance and vault and all other retail balancing efforts.
    • Perform all duties in accordance with bank policy and procedure. Ensure the highest standards of operational excellence.
    • Performs teller duties as needed based on branch traffic and staffing needs and ensures the day-to-day operations of the branch are in accordance with all standards.
    • Actively participates in community events to demonstrate support for the Two Rivers culture.
    • Conducts ongoing coaching sessions, staff development, new hire training, communicates and ensures staff understands policy and procedures, conducts monthly Key Performance Indicator reviews with direct reports.
    • Manages non-interest expense by controlling losses, salary expense including overtime, office supplies, branch expenses within a targeted profit plan level.
    SCHEDULE/TRAVEL/STATUS:
    • Monday-Friday, Saturday by Rotation (Hours and Saturday Schedule vary by Market)
    • Light day travel.
