    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Our client is seeking a Dynamics 365 Lead to spearhead the deployment, customization, and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects especially in the Customer Engagement (CE) module. This role involves leading the implementation, and continuous improvement of the CRM system to enhance business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, Dataverse, and the ability to translate business needs into technological solutions. This is a hybrid position 3 days/week onsite in Stafford, VA.

    Contract date: 05/28/ /30/2024 **Assignment to be extended beyond 6/30, possibly 24 months

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Aid in the requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of D365 solutions.
    • Expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement – Customer Service and Power Apps/Automate development.
    • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage.
    • Manage entity ownership; manage entity properties; understand system and custom entities
    • Create business process flows; enable business process flows; work with steps, stages, and categories; work with multiple entities; use conditional branching; implement role-driven business process flows.
    • Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform's use at VDOT.
    • Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs.
    • Assist customers in discerning between Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs.
    • Preferred Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
    • Contribute to improving our processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program.
    • Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution.
    • Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft's licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
    • Implement workflows; identify workflow types; implement dialogs and custom actions; identify when to use business process flows, workflow dialogs, and custom actions.
    • Strong experience with troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues Dynamics 365 issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes.
    • Design, develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and C#.
    • Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all CRM development related issues, concerns, and needs.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Experience as a D365 Technical Lead - Required (5 years)
    • Experience with creating and managing of solution using Dynamics 365 CRM –Customer Service- Required (8 years)
    • Experience with customization and implementation of Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, Workflows and BPFs in D365 - Required (8 years)
    • Custom development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C# - Required (8 years)
    • Experience with Power Platform and Dataverse - Required (3 years)
    • Experience with using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate - Required (3 years)
    • Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services - Desired (3 years)
    • Experience with DevOps in Power Platform/D365 Environments - Desired (2 years)
    • Experience with Data Integrations and Migrations using SSIS Packages - Desired (5 years)
