    Job Description :

    Required Skills:
    years experience with medium to expert Data Analysis and minimum 4 years Data Modeling;
    Hands-on working experience with Power Designer or Erwin data modeling tools;
    2 – 4+ years experience working with Teradata

    Responsibilities:
    Coordinate with the Business Analysts, business Intelligence team, and end users to understand reporting requirements, translating them into Data Warehouse design;
    Create necessary Functional Specification Documentation (i.e. source target mapping, data models, business rules, etc.) to support the business requirements;
    Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating and analyzing data in current systems;
    Develops data warehouse solutions by designing proposed system; Utilizing data warehouse design techniques; Defining database physical models and functional capabilities, follow EDA and Enterprise level standards, security procedures, back-up, and recovery specifications;
    Work closely with the DBA team while defining and implementing physical database structures;
    Facilitate design and architecture concept discussions with Development team to define ETL processes;
    Implement database structure by developing process flow diagrams; applying optimum access techniques; coordinating installation actions; documents actions; ensure application and business partners data access adheres to Enterprise Security policy standards;
    Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving production and application problems; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; updating models; completing maintenance; answering user questions;
    Consult data warehouse and cube design and metadata layers; reviewing design against common methodologies and standard;

    Project (how does this affect the company/why open?):
    Current focus is a technology asset management project. Identifying parent/child relationships as it pertains to all of Wells Fargo's technology assets (i.e. printers, computers, phones, etc.) Need to understand, source, and integrate data points of over 1 Trillion. They need to find a creative solution to more efficiently process this data.

    Requirements:
    years experience with medium to expert Data Analysis and minimum 4 years Data Modeling;
    Hands-on working experience with Power Designer or Erwin data modeling tools;
    2 – 4+ years experience working with Teradata;
    Mid-to-high end SQL skills;
    Excellent experience presenting Enterprise Data Warehouse design and modeling solutions to technical teams and business partners;
    Solid understanding of Metadata concepts; including data mapping, business level metadata and technical metadata
    Excellent oral and written communications skills;
    Lead/mentor/offshore experience is ideal.
