    JOB OVERVIEW

    This leadership position is responsible for the Technical Architecture of System Integrations between our SAP solutions and other internal or external systems. The role requires analyzing complex business problems to be solved with optimal technical architecture resulting in system integrations with maximum stability, supportability and maintainability, and long-term viability. The incumbent will provide leadership and technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective system integrations and procedures that meet business objectives and provide the scalability to support our company's and business's continued growth. This position is expected to anticipate business needs accurately and consistently (solutions, benchmarks, examples, best practices, out-of-the-box thinking) and effectively contribute this thinking to the business partnership.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide strong strategic and technical leadership in the design, development, implementation, and support of all integration points between our SAP solutions as well as other internal and external IT systems using Snaplogic and SAP PO integration tools.
    • Provide leadership in developing integration standards, architectural governance, and architectural design patterns for system integrations following IT best practices using Snaplogic.
    • Develop a macro view of the current and future state of business and technology architecture that is well connected with business strategy and anticipated business and systems growth.
    • Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in various areas such as Snaplogic, S/4 HANA, SAP Hybris, SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, BODS, SRM, SLT, Winshuttle, Concur, SAP CPQ, SAP GRC
    • Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in the latest integration protocols and authentication methods in RESTful services, ODATA, or any other new protocol used by our integration partners.
    • Build consensus with internal and external partners around data exchange and security protocols maximizing data security and governance.
    • Provide leadership to help guide the development of IT systems solutions that are strategically aligned to Callaway's overall architecture producing maximum output while simultaneously maintaining low costs.
    • Design, Implement, lead, and troubleshoot integration of SAP and Non-SAP applications.
    • Manage all development life cycle phases, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support/maintenance.
    • Produce and peer review technical designs and architectures for integration projects and new system implementations.
    • Demonstrate effective and collaborative communication with internal and functional team members.
    • Coordinate project tasks and ensure accurate estimates are provided for the completion of development tasks.
    • Research and debug potential performance or other system anomalies. (i.e., demonstrate superior problem resolution).
    • Create and compile technical documentation, including unit, integration, and acceptance test plans, support documentation, end-user documentation for delivered solutions, and other tasks.
    • Develop and enforce day-to-day support policies and procedures.
    • Communicate the status of projects and initiatives to management.
    • Mentor/develop/motivate technical and analytical staff.
    • Manage multiple projects/reporting solutions for numerous business areas.

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

    • Demonstrates strong prioritization skills in architecture and integration design, anticipating future needs and growth of our business, the needs and development of the systems themselves, and the need to support, monitor & troubleshoot them.
    • Demonstrates solid analytical skills. Ability to work directly with business analysts to translate the complex functional design into technical specifications. Able to grasp requirements quickly and anticipate potential future needs.
    • Possesses solid technical development skills across many functional and technological areas with the ability to provide context to requirements.
    • Possesses the ability to quickly absorb and learn about key features and integration capabilities of new systems, internal and external.
    • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, including the ability to conduct formal and informal presentations and workshops with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business and all members of the IT organization.
    • Ability to recognize and minimize design dependencies between projects.
    • Advanced working knowledge and critical thinking skills related to Snaplogic, SAP S/4, R/3, Hybris, SAP PI/PO, ABAP SLT technologies, and all other used application tools.
    • Experience working with all layers of Snaplogic and SAP system (Database, Middleware, and Presentation)
    • Demonstrate strong Project management experience.
    • Ability to develop a strategic vision.
    • Ability to develop system concepts, logical architectures, solution options, and pros and cons of different options.
    • Ability to take a proof of concept to reality.
    • Demonstrate conceptual solid reasoning skills and discretionary judgment.
    • Pull together from multiple sources and present final solutions and best practices around architecture and future product roadmaps, as well as company guidelines for systems architecture and integration.
    • In-depth knowledge of an SDLC process and ability to develop sound project plans within this framework.
    • Intermediate to advanced project management skills, including influencing, persuasion, and mediation to resolve issues and drive consensus.
    • As part of the SAP development team, superior knowledge of ABAP/4 report and dialog programming, form development, data dictionary objects, performance tuning and debugging, and data migration and extraction tools. Understanding the ABAP Objects concepts and development tools and the internet capabilities of the web application server technologies and their development environment, such as WebDynpro, Web Services, and XML interfaces. Expert knowledge in at least two non-standard development technologies such as SAPConsole, Smartforms/SAPScript, EDI/XI middleware development, WebDynpro, ABAP Objects, Label Printing, XML processing, Workflow, etc.
    • Working knowledge of upgrade processes and all aspects of system testing.
    • Advanced knowledge of the latest development tools in ABAP, SAP Console, APO integration, and EDI technologies.
    • Able to work extended or non-standard hours to support business needs and project deadlines as needed.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related area, or equivalent additional work experience required.
    • Minimum 10 years of Integration is required.
    • Minimum 2 years of Snaplogic architecture and development experience is required.
    • Experience Integrating with SAP ECC, S/4, or APO in a team environment.
    • Experience with SAP Middleware (PI/PO/CPI), SLT, Concur, and Business Objects
    • Experience implementing Global Transformation projects.
    • Functional and Technical expertise in SAP and Non-SAP applications.
    • Experience leading and mentoring a global development team.
