Job DescriptionJob Title:
Hotel Housekeeper
Job Responsibilities:1.

Cleaning and Maintaining Guest Rooms:
Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities

2Bathroom Cleaning:
Ensure bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, and showers/tubs

3Linen and Towel Management:
Change bed linens, towels, and other room amenities as per hotel procedures

4Trash Removal:
Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash in designated areas

5Reporting Maintenance Issues:
Report any maintenance issues or damages found in guest rooms to the appropriate department for prompt resolution

6Room Inspection:
Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness standards before guests check-in

7Stocking Supplies:
Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels as needed

8Public Area Cleaning:
Assist in cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, including corridors, lobbies, and other common spaces

9Adhering to Safety Standards:
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff

Job Qualifications:

Attention to Detail:
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail in guest rooms and public areas

2Physical Stamina:
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods

3Reliability:
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and effectively

4Teamwork:
Ability to work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations

5Communication Skills:
Good communication skills to report maintenance issues and interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner

6Previous Experience:
Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not always required. Training may be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.7.

Flexibility:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the needs of the hotel

8Legal Requirements:

Compliance with all legal and safety regulations, including eligibility to work in the country and any other requirements specific to the location of the hotel.
