- Evaluates patient upon physician order to determine need for occupational therapy intervention
- Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities
- Develops realistic goals with patient input and explains treatment plan to the patient
- Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities
- Communicates effectively with physician and other members or the rehab team regarding treatment plan and patient response to the plan
- Evaluates, records and reports on patient progress for review by other members of the rehab team
- Completes all required documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current State of Texas Occupational Therapist License
- American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction required.
