    We are seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team

    This is a full-time weekday shift position working in an outpatient setting treating a variety of patients. Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction required.

    Position Overview


    We are seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team This is a full-time weekday shift position working in an outpatient setting treating a variety of patients.

    Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction required.

    Responsibilities


    • Evaluates patient upon physician order to determine need for occupational therapy intervention
    • Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities
    • Develops realistic goals with patient input and explains treatment plan to the patient
    • Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities
    • Communicates effectively with physician and other members or the rehab team regarding treatment plan and patient response to the plan
    • Evaluates, records and reports on patient progress for review by other members of the rehab team
    • Completes all required documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner
    • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
    Qualifications


    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required
    • Current State of Texas Occupational Therapist License
    • American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
    • Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction required.
