- Float: Yes, float to endovascular OR suite, offsite location where IR cases are performed based on operational needs.
- Call Back: Yes, weekday and weekend to include holiday on-call assignment. Night call weekend 24 hours on-call requirements.
- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist.
- Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
- The ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
- The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist.
- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication.
- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load.
- Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system.
- Groin management post-intervention.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
- BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
- Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state (defined in above JD.)
- This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist (CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
- BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
