- Analyze supply chain processes to identify or recommend opportunities to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.

- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.
- Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes, product development, and Life Cycle Cost modeling.

is seeking an experienced Logistics Engineer to join our team in performing logistics analysis activities on the Digital Transformation, Acquisition, Modernization, and Modification (DTAMM) program
This role will be a logistics support engineer for activities supporting program efforts at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Base (SFB) site
The individual filling this role must be in the local area of Cape Canaveral SFB to work on-site as required, with the option to work remotely on days on-site support is not required (local area is defined as 50 miles from Cape Canaveral SFB)
Essential Functions:
The Logistics Specialist duties include but are not limited to:
Investigate late delivery claims from customers, following the path of the shipment from receipt to delivery to spot problems and verify customer claims.
Coordinate and communicate with Asset and Configuration management team to ensure consistent and complete identification, tracking, control, and accounting of DTAMM controlled property.
Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
Qualifications:
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and be capable of developing and presenting reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner.
