About Our Team:
The Experimental Solid Mechanics Department 1528, part of the Engineering Sciences Center at Sandia National Laboratories, specializes in experimental technologies related to structural mechanics and materials. Our team is dedicated to solving critical national security challenges through innovative research and development efforts.
With our expertise in experimental technologies, analytical capabilities, and integrated solutions, we aim to address various engineering issues related to national security, energy, and more.
Posting Duration:

Security Clearance:
Sandia requires pre-employment screenings for selected applicants to meet DOE security requirements. The selected candidate must be able to acquire and uphold a DOE L-level security clearance.

This postdoctoral position is initially a one-year term with potential for renewal based on operational needs and performance. The applicant's PhD must have been awarded within the last five years.
