    We are currently seeking

    Staff Physicians ' for:

    Adult Medicine, Women's Health-OB/GYN, and Pediatrics to join our team You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team in a community clinic environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Adheres to policy, procedures, and contractual agreement of the Watts Health Center and Watts Health Foundation, Inc.

    Acts as the official medical representative for Foundation with other contracted facilities to ensure adherence to prescribed medical practice and procedures.

    Reviews and acts upon diagnostic test results as appropriate; ensures patients are aware of test results; documents acknowledgement of results and actions taken in patients' record.

    Adheres to template structure and maximizes the use of available visits to address clinic and patient needs.
    Communicates patient care priorities, especially follow-up plans that involve non-providers (e.g., high-risk patients that need Care Manager follow-up).
    Fosters a collaborative culture and effective teamwork.
    Supports the development and implementation of new clinical initiatives.


    REQUIREMENTS:
    3 years' experience in one or more of the following: medical practice, teaching or investigative medicine.
    Minimum of one (1) year administrative and supervisory experience required.
    Working knowledge of direct patient care methods and practices in a community clinic setting.
    Experience in managed care or value-based care preferred.


    EDUCATION:
    MD or DO degree, with current licensure in the State of California


    LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
    California State Physician and Surgeon's License and certification in a medical specialty.
    Board certification or eligible preferred.


    COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS:
    All patients are subjected to COVID screening and are required to wear a mask when not receiving treatment. All staff members must be fully vaccinated.

    Job Types:
    Full-time and per diem

    Salary:
    $214, $239,000.00 per year
