    Summary

    The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of our client's Human Capital & Talent team and will be responsible for providing operational support to various functions and practice groups within firm's offices, while serving as a point of contact for all human resources (HR) questions including but not limited to Paid Time Off (PTO), timekeeping system application, benefits eligibility, leave eligibility, accommodation requests, and recruiting, as well as facilitating connection with appropriate functional departments and providing updates to the HR Manager and team members as needed.

    This role is located in their Boston office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

    Responsibilities

    • Understanding the firm's human resources policies and answering most questions independently; using appropriate judgment to collaborate and escalate complex questions and issues as appropriate; following-up to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
    • Leading new hire orientation; developing programs to facilitate new employee integration during the first year of employment to meet the firm's objectives for new hire retention
    • Partnering with colleagues in the Office of the General Counsel, Well-Being & Benefits, Attorney Development, Business Services Recruiting, Development & Training, Compensation, and Strategy & Operations departments as needed to facilitate seamless communications and promote proactive services
    • Managing timekeeping activities including following up with managers and supervisors to ensure all timecards are approved, answering routine questions about timekeeping and the timekeeping system, and ensuring FLSA standards are met
    • Promoting value-added benefits, wellness events, and training opportunities in partnership with the Well-Being & Benefits and Development & Training departments

    Qualifications

    • Display comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions
    • Possess the ability to cultivate relationships across teams at all organizational levels of the firm
    • Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills
    • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent; focus in a related field, preferably
    • A minimum of four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
    • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience

    Compensation

    The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $105,000 (exempt).
