A strong organization focused on ophthalmology care is seeking a BSN to act as the Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator for their recently-acquired location in central Suffolk County, Long Island

Job Function:

• Directly oversee a Nurse Manager that has a staff of approximately 15 people, including scrub techs, central sterile techs and Femto laser technicians and 2-3 other RNs
• Expected to oversee that clinical care services run smoothly and provide oversite to all supervisors, including the training of supervisors and teammates
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure infection control/prevention compliance and manage all aspects of the clinical quality improvement programs (Environment of Care, Life Safety Code, Regulated Medical Waste Disposal)
• Offer regular staff meetings and trainings to enhance communication at the site
• Handle patient questions, concern and complains from patients and loved ones
• Maintain detailed records and HIPAA compliance
• Maintain the budget provided and directed by the organization executive team
• Monday-Friday schedule expected to be 7am-4pm
