- Coordinate congressional reporting requirements within ODA&M and provide bill research to include cross-reference prior year Defense authorization bills and appropriations bills.

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position provides legislative analysis to the Organizational and Management Policy Directorate (O&MPD) within the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M) providing a wide range of legislative analysis and support services
This includes tracking Congressional reporting requirements, coordinating, monitoring and tracking proposed legislation, identifying potential provisions in legislation (e.g., authorizations, appropriations, and other bills relating to defense matters) that would affect OSD and ODA&M equity issues, and preparing updates to ODA&M leadership on legislative developments
This position also requires a high degree of proficiency with SharePoint content management
Specific tasks include:
Analyze the House, Senate, and conference versions of the NDAA to identify sections that effect ODA&M equities and provides side by side analysis against the DoD submitted bill language.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in a discipline relevant to the position plus at least 5 years relevant professional experience
