UNC Physician's Network is recruiting to fill several roles for Occupational Health Nurse on location in Durham, RTP, at our client's manufacturing campus.
There are full time, part time and per diem opportunities, as this is an expansion of current site coverage and we need to build our team.
The 12 hour shifts will be 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am.This role will work closely with site Safety and Medical leadership to offer occupational health screenings, acute episodic care and emergency response.
Candidates with EMT, Paramedic, or Emergency nursing experience are preferred, and nurses who appreciate autonomous practice will enjoy this environment.

Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others.
Oversees daily clinical, clerical & administrative Occupational Health Services (OHS) functions while ensuring institutional & departmental compliance with applicable professional, regulatory & governmental standards.

Consistently and effectively coordinates the daily operations of occupational health programs & services - clinical, clerical and administrative functions - for area of responsibility/operating unit.
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to foster the provision of effective health, safety and environmental services - anticipates changes and recommends and implements new policies and work improvement initiatives as indicated.
Ensures development and maintenance of confidential health records 100% of the time. Effectively coordinates provisions for employee compliance with regulatory requirements.
