- Checks all exit doors to be certain that they are locked.
- Operate phone system and answer calls to the building.
- Monitor activities in hallways and responds to resident's needs.
- Contact emergency personnel on behalf of residents when warranted.
- Respond to fire or emergency situations responsibly and provide access to community to emergency responders.
- Report environmental needs; i.e. non-operating light bulbs, dirty carpet, wet floors, wet carpet, tripping hazards, etc. to Environmental Director.
- Distribute the morning newspapers to the proper rooms.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
- Must have 1-2 years of security or night watchman experience.
- Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.
