- Demonstrate technical proficiency during EP procedures as a Cardiovascular Scrub Technician and Electrophysiology Recorder.
- Certification eligible: RCIS/RCES exam within 18 months from start date OR hold one of these certifications: Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (CCI), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (CCI), American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or NREMT-Paramedic EMT qualification AND education requirement must meet all three below listed options:A High School Graduate/GED Two years full-time invasive cardiovascular experience Associate Degree/equivalent college hours in health/science/natural science/engineering/nursing;OR certification holder - Hires as June 2013 meeting ONE option:B graduate program accredited CHEA USDOE CMA minimum specialty training year including min 800 clinical hrs NON-programmatically accredited vocational certification plus additional INVASIVE CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY TRAINING.Educational info verified by Human Resources via transcription firms to verify new hire credentials thru WORLDWIDE verification database BEFORE being put on active dutyDemonstrates knowledge anatomy dysrhythmias disease processes assisting physicians entering data into physiologic monitoring system(s)
