    The Civilian Health Solutions Operation has an opening for a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Lead to support a large healthcare contract.

    Must be local the DC, MD, VA

    Demonstrate your expertise and experience in performing Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (THIRA).


    Demonstrate your expertise and experience with developing, implementing, and updating emergency and continuity frameworks to include Concepts of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, and technology.


    Demonstrate your expertise and experience with developing, implementing, and updating governmental continuity plans (such as All-Hazard Plans, COOP, Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, Emergency Operations Plans, Pandemic, supporting Plans, etc.) in accordance with Agency Continuity of Operations Program Policy, Federal Continuity Directive 1 and 2 guidelines, and with other guidance provided by FEMA, DHS, and/or the National Security Council Staff.


    Demonstrate your expertise and experience in developing, conducting, and analyzing Business Process and Business Impact Analyses (functional and technical) and reporting on the same to all levels of staff/leadership.

    This should include techniques and strategies to successfully align Mission Essential Functions (MEFs), Essential Supporting Activities (ESAs), the systems directly supporting a MEF/ESA, and interdependent systems (up/downstream).


    Experience:


    Must have at least five (5) years of related experience performing IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities, such as DR testing, policy and plan development, and facilitation.


    • Must be experienced and knowledgeable in working with the NIST SP 800 series of publications and the NIST Risk Management Framework.
    • Graduate degree with a major or concentration in Business Continuity or a related field or holding a current Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) or Certified Public Sector Continuity Professional (CPSCP) credential from the Disaster Recovery International Institute (DRII) may substitute
    for two years of experience.


    • Advanced knowledge of business process and business impact analysis methodologies and implementation.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $84, $152,750.00
