    Mission Statement: The Judicial Department in Colorado aims to provide fair access to justice, contribute to public safety, and reinforce the rule of law.

    Statement of Duties:
    - Monitor and track reporting requirements of court-appointed guardians and conservators in protective proceeding probate cases for compliance.
    - Assist the Court in evaluating guardian and conservator expenditures and provide guidance on reporting measures.

    Distinguishing Factors:
    Roles in this category focus on specialized case processing functions for the court. The Protective Proceedings Monitor role stands out for working with a specific group of court-appointed guardians and conservators to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

    Essential Functions:
    - Monitor guardian and conservator report filings by tracking review dates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    - Conduct research to locate non-compliant guardians and conservators and maintain case information.
    - Provide procedural information to the public and assist in workshops and seminars.
    - Maintain statistics on protective proceeding filings and assess expenditures.
    - Referral of non-compliant guardians and conservators to the Court for further action.

    Supervisor Responsibilities:
    Responsible for one's work and may provide leadership or guidance to coworkers. May include lead responsibilities and review work products.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in public or court administration or related field from an accredited college or university, plus one year of legal or court experience. Alternatively, graduation from high school and five years of legal, probate, or general court experience.
    Physical Demands: Work involves talking, sitting, reaching, repetitive motions, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
    Work Environment: Moderate noise level, potential for emergency situations, interruptions, and handling multiple calls simultaneously.
