    OCI Compute is looking for strong Systems/Software Developers to take on the challenge of engineering Compute GPU/HPC Infrastructure solutions for Large Scale HPC/AI/ML Customer Workloads and performance while providing strong guarantees of availability to our customers.

    Your team will have diverse expertise in systems, networking, and software development to provide the stability, performance, and reliability that our customers need.

    You will build solutions to address hard network and system problems while enabling our customers with solutions for their business problems that are solved by large compute stacks.

    OCI has taken the lead in becoming the premiere Cloud Provider of GPUs, and this is your opportunity to play a role in the HPC/AI/ML industry movement.

    Responsibilities


    As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems.

    Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

    To achieve success with the responsibilities of this role, the following experience is required:
    10+ years of HPC/GPU Workload Experience

    10+ years of ROCEv2 / Infiniband Networking Experience

    10+ years of NCCL / MPI performance tuning

    10+ years of Linux NIC Configuration

    10+ years of System Debugging

    Proficient in shell scripting

    Capable writing tools with a language such as Python/GoLang/Java

    Strong knowledge of Linux resource management

    Proficient in Linux monitoring and troubleshooting

    Capable of fault, crash dump, packet capture analysis

    Familiarity interacting with SOA, Web Services, Microservices, etc

    Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

    Paid time off:
    Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.

    For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

    Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

    Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
