- Work alongside budget owners as a financial partner while delivering monthly reporting packs, KPIs and insights around monthly financial performance.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to stakeholders as requested/needed.
- Review monthly actuals on an on-going basis as well as analyze trends and upcoming costs.
- Generate a deep understanding of the company's cost of sales and be able to effectively analyze trends and historical data.
- Be able to construct financial models from the ground up tailor made to simplify decision-making and financial explanations.
- Identify monthly reclassifications based on budget and expected forecast, as well as other relevant KPIs/metrics.
- Forecast on an on-going basis by leveraging historical trends, contracts, invoices, and feedback from budget owners.
- Attend monthly meetings with budget owners well-prepared and able to speak to any financial variances, while confidently conveying activity.
- Proactively identify upcoming variances to forecast as well as adjustments needed to the P&L.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment while effectively communicating with finance.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with a desire to learn new techniques.
- General understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with high-level executives.
- Proactive mindset, always seeking ways to enhance processes and gather information before making decisions.

The base salary range for this position in is $70K-$85K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
