    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting department and ensure the integrity of financial information.

    The Accounting Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the accounting team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Manage and mentor accounting staff, including hiring, training, and annual performance evaluations.
    Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely completion of audits and tax filings.
    Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in compliance with state and local regulations.
    Stay informed of changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance within the organization.
    Implement process improvements to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or other similarly related field.
    Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or other related field.
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
    Familiarity with Sage 100 accounting software is preferred, but not required.
    Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
