    Job Description *

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Warehouse and Tool Room Clerk to work on site, 5 days a week in Irvine, CA.

    Job Purpose/Summary:

    The Warehouse and Tool Room Clerk responsibilities include managing all of the parts, products, tools and equipment used to facilitate production and test of aircraft. Maintaining the chain of custody of parts and assets from receipt through issuing to the shop floor will be accomplished utilizing advanced organization techniques. Strong adherence to company and industry standards for inventory control, calibration and safety requirements is a must

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Locate packing slips, confirm deliveries, and pull and turn in packing slips.

    Monitor low inventory levels and communicate out of stock items.

    Label part number of products and move to home/final locations for usage.

    Implement warehouse planning solutions (rack construction and labeling)

    Preform other duties as assigned.

    Stock received items to bulk stock.

    Notifies purchasing of obsolete items, missing or quantities nearing stock-out.

    Maintain accurate inventory stock location files and audit programs.

    Maintain the Materials Issued Log, and ensure the right components are distributed to production.

    Is responsible for the maintenance and inventory of supplies within the tool room at a warehouse or business.

    Maintain calibration intervals of tools and equipment.

    Keeps a list of tools and equipment available for distribution, and maintains records of which products are signed out and to whom

    Orders, secures, and monitors tools a nd equipment that need to be fixed or calibrated, and can also make minor repairs if necessary

    Verifies MSDS on any item received that comply with OSHA regulations, and processes requisitions for products, materials and surplus MRO materials

    Inspects toolroom equipment for proper functioning and reports malfunctions to appropriate personnel.

    Education/Experience:

    Minimum GED or HS diploma required; college degree preferred.

    2+ years' experience as a warehouse clerk.
