    Gracepoint, one of Tampa's first behavioral and mental health care programs is seeking a compassionate and driven Program Supervisor for our Homeless Services Program.

    This is an advanced professional position responsible for the daily operation of the Program, supervision of direct service staff, and training and consultation—reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Program Manager.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • A minimum of a Master's degree in a Human Services related field from an accredited college or university
    • Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in Human Services/Behavioral Health
    • Preference for applicants who are licensed or are license-eligible
    • Knowledge of direct services, including relevant DSM 5 diagnosis and symptomology
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, legal documentation, and governmental regulations
    • Effective verbal communication skills for interaction with managers, clients, service providers, family members, and the general public
    • Possession of a valid Florida driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    General office, community services program setting. Most work is completed while seated at a desk using standard office equipment. Fast-paced. Multi-tasking requires above-average time management skills.

    FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Provides direct supervision for the program staff. Supervises and coordinates direct service delivery of the reporting unit. Direct supervision of program staff and ensure training compliance.
    • Complete Gracepoint required documentation in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to program monitoring and quality reports.
    • Maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external programs and agencies.
    • Attend agency-wide, division, and program meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops to maintain and enhance essential skills and knowledge.
    • Interviews/hires prospective employees and orients them to the program.
    • Assume administrative and supervisory duties in the Program Manager's absence.
    • Performs other duties that are similar, related, or is a logical assignment to the job.

    COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Complies with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies regarding the management and provision of agency services.
    • Adheres to the deadlines, requirements, and expectations set by the supervisor, agency, and department.
    • Accurately and promptly completes administrative tasks and data entry.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Provides exceptional customer service in all communications and interactions with staff and the general public.
    • Maintains confidentiality and remains calm under stress.
    • Assists staff with support in all areas of functional responsibility in a courteous, supportive manner.
    • Demonstrates servant leadership qualities and exceeds customers' expectations.

    FISCAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Effective and efficient utilization of agency resources, systems, equipment, and processes, with a continuous focus on cost-saving initiatives and the effective management of time to avoid overtime and budgetary issues.
