Your Role and Responsibilities

Software architects for Maximo Mobile is a technical position in which they collaborate with the Product Owners, Designers, Development, and Support teams to collectively define the best approaches for developing new features, troubleshooting issues, and making continuous improvements to Maximo Mobile in accordance with the Business Unit's strategy and market demand.

Software architects must possess technical knowledge, including code-level expertise in the product, coupled with analytical insight to engage with the development team in complex cases and technical decision-making.

Architects are responsible for keeping the development community informed about standardization bodies and technologies that can be applied within Maximo Mobile, facilitating cross-team coordination.

Some Daily activities:

Product Requirement review with PO, Developers, Designers, and Support.
Code Review with the development team.
Be part of the Product Development specification creation.
Be assigned to complex client issues
Work on improvement based on critical product areas and drive it across the team.
Support the team on product technical questions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Skills:
Communication/Negotiation: Guide other professionals. Adapt communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements.

Problem Solving:
Analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, and assess opportunities, impacts, and risks. Develop and implement solutions.

Contribution/Leadership:
Influence multi-functional teams, including executive management, when issues are complex/difficult and require considerable diplomacy. Considerable latitude in responsibilities to define and decide on tools, processes, and priorities following general business unit directives. Recognized as an expert in their field. Often no precedent exists.

Highly experienced Software developer

Experience in Mobile application development (IOS, Android and Windows)

IBM Maximo knowledge

Mobile Application development skills - be able to debug code, implement fixes and changes

Skill in Mobile test automation

Skill in Mobile Performance, load, and Stress development perspective.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
