    Job Description

    This position requires the development of Tableau dashboards, with a minimum production rate of one per week for current DCS IT projects.

    • Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics is a key aspect of this role.

    Required Skills

    Amount of Experience

    Tableau dashboard development experience is essential, with at least 4 years required. Proficiency in Tableau server knowledge is also necessary, with 4 years of experience expected.

    • Recent experience working with one or more BI platforms, such as Power BI or Tableau, is required, with a minimum of 3 years.
    • Data cleansing experience is also essential, with a minimum of 2 years required.
    • A basic understanding of SQL is necessary, with at least 1.5 years of experience expected.
    • Experience with data validation and data integrity is required, with a minimum of 3 years.
    • Working experience in Salesforce reporting is desired, with at least 1 year required.

    Education and Skills

    • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
    • The ability to tactfully deal with various stakeholders to resolve problems is necessary.
    • Exceptional written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills are required.
    • An exceptional team player is expected.
    • Visual and artistic creative skills are desirable.
    • The ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with high levels of weekly task variation is necessary.

    Desired Skills

    • Knowledge of Child Welfare is desirable.

    Role Responsibilities

    We partner with agency leadership, field staff, and data governance officials to leverage data in innovative ways, facilitating data-driven decision making and data-informed policy making.

    • The Operation Analyst plays a key role in this process, providing leadership and expertise within IN DCS.
    • They develop extensive knowledge of a particular data domain (division of DCS) and can move between areas with ease to tackle problems and offer solutions.
    • Our team members see problems and create solutions that better the organization.
    • They are contributors to the DCS data community and the agency overall.
