- Monitor contracts to identify outstanding items in compliance with the contract.
- Assists with collection and recording of contractual fees to ensure timely and accurate reporting and collections.
- Make contact on delinquent accounts and maintain accurate records by answering questions and processing requests by phone.
- Investigate historical data.
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation and report on collection activity and accounts receivable status. Update account status records and collection efforts
- Provide other support for the operation of the Accounting and Finance functions in the Business Operations section.
- A high level of professionalism and trustworthiness and ability to utilize judgment.
- Ability to build and maintain healthy business relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and theories of management, accounting, auditing, banking, and/or insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Description
Job ResponsibilitiesThis role is within the Business Operations and Strategic Planning section of the Division of Procurement Services.
We are looking for a skilled team member to be responsible for the collection and control of contractual fee delinquencies, striking a balance between maintaining trustful relationships, and ensuring timely payments.
The successful incumbent will:
An associate degree and experience in accounting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, auditing, finance, insurance, or tax preparation and/or analysis. A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for work experience. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.
