- Collaborate with engineers to develop and enhance processes.
- Create process descriptions and develop simulations for new/upgraded systems.
- Develop and support the creation of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
- Prepare detailed process equipment data sheets and utility usage lists.
- Conduct system calculations including line sizing and hydraulic evaluations.
- Develop process control schemes and ensure quality of engineering work.
- Assist in preparing Start-up and Operating Manuals.
- Bachelor's, Masters, or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
- 5-15 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong preference for expertise in cryogenic processing.
- Proficient with ASPEN HYSYS, SimSci, and AVEVA dynamic simulation software.
- Solid understanding of process safety, PSM regulations, NFPA codes, and patent development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and present complex solutions.
- Experienced with cryogenic processing: Cryogenic air separation, liquefaction of natural gas, liquefaction of hydrogen, light gas separations, etc.
