Cook Come join us at Lourdes Noreen-McKeen Residence A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960.
We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to hire a Cook.$17 per hour Cook Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
3 to 4 years of related cooking experience.
Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and cash-handling procedures preferred
Cook Job Summary:
Prepare and cook to order foods requiring short and broader preparation time.
May cook and serve customers at an a la carte or grill station.
Follow basic recipes and/or product directions for meal preparation.
Utilize a variety of kitchen equipment for food and meal preparation.
Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment as needed.
Attend all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical cooking techniques. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
