Granite Arch Climbing Center is seeking enthusiastic and positive individuals to join their coaching team as a Youth Climbing Coach You will work with kids ages 7–18 in structured indoor climbing programs The role requires no prior coaching or climbing experience though both are highly valued and desired This job is perfect for someone who loves working with kids enjoys movement-based activities and wants to make a meaningful impact by teaching confidence resilience teamwork problem-solving through the sport of climbingResponsibilities
- Coach and mentor youth climbers ages 7–18 in classes clubs and specialized programs
- Teach foundational climbing techniques movement skills risk management lead warm-ups stretching group activities promote teamwork physical literacy provide positive reinforcement clear instruction individualized support maintain safe inclusive structured environment communicate professionally parents kids fellow coaches attend required trainings uphold safety behavioral standards commit semester opportunities expanded hours summer camps
