    The Regional Business Manager leads the Tarkett Home sales team in their footprint and oversees all sales activity within that designated region. A RBM will create and executes sales initiatives while establishing short- and long-term sales goals for their area and team. Relies on experience and judgment to plan, problem solve, and accomplish goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work closely with sales & operations leadership, to define and achieve quarterly/annual sales targets, track national promotion participation, market share, as well as distribution and key account growth objectives.
    • Assist product management and marketing with product launches, market intelligence, and forecasting.
    • Manage and distribution sales for resilient and carpet.
    • Ensure products, pricing, representation and service are maintained at superior levels.
    • Primary point of contact for distribution principals
    • Train Distribution personnel on Tarkett Residential Product' s
    • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with assigned distributors and top retailers within region
    • Document monthly forecast projections for distributors in region and communicate with sales and operations leadership
    • Own Product Launches within region, including pricing, display placements, and marketing support
    • Manage and track merchandising placements within territory to ensure an appropriate return on investment
    • Responsible for conducting Distribution Sales Rep training on all things Tarkett Residential. Should be considered Tarkett trusted advisor.
    • Maintain working knowledge of all competitive products within the region and work with distributors and retailers to ensure our products and programs remain competitive in the marketplace
    • Manage and mitigate distributor conflict via appropriate communication
    • Create and lead the execution of region specific programs and promotions then track and review their progress.
    • Execute sales blitzes and product launches
    • Review and evaluate territory sales and account lists frequently to help prioritize key accounts by volume opportunity including National Accounts.
    • Create productive, effective and mutually beneficial long-term business relationships with Distributor Sales Leaders & Representatives
    • Maintain strong personal relationship with top accounts within the region
    • Submit weekly updates to leadership tracking secured wins, opportunities, and challenges inside the region
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other related field and 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5+ years sales experience preferred - flooring experience a plus
    • Sales leadership experience preferred - all leadership experience considered
    • Competitive spirit with a desire to exceed expectations
    • Ability to identify sales trends and develop business insights
    • Commitment to planning and organization
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Experience in launching products at distributors, key accounts, and independent retailers
    • Familiarity with planograms and the utilization of merchandising/marketing tools.
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word computer programs.
    • Overnight Travel is required (50%)
