    Our work depends on Systems Engineer Advisor joining our team to review, analyze and Tier III support for patches and updates, to include testing the baseline in the Engineering Operations Facility (EOF) prior to release to the RCCs.


    How a Unix/Linux SME will make an impact:

    • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
    • Coordinate, review and maintain system documentation.
    • Provide NetOps engineering support for the integration of the SIMS NetOps capability into the Army's global Enterprise from the site level up, consisting of, but not limited to, ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM), ArcSight Database, ArcSight Consoles, and ArcSight Loggers.
    • Industry/Operational experience in implementation and sustainment of NetOps capabilities across all operational and strategic echelons in the LWN to include Joint components in support of the Army's GNE/NSC.
    • Knowledge of Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and current DISA's hardening protocol.
    • Operational experience in implementation and sustainment of NetOps capabilities across all operational and strategic echelons in the LWN to include Joint components in support of the Army's GNE/NSC. Experienced in systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and engineering.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    Required Experience:
    BS and 8+ years of related experience. (or combination of skills, education and certifications)

    Required Certifications:
    IAT Level III (CISSP, CASP CCNA Security etc.)

    Required Technical Skills:
    SIMS expertise, knowledge, skills and certifications.


    Security Clearance Level:
    Secret.


    Required Skills and Abilities:
    Knowledge of Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and current DISA's hardening protocol.

    Preferred Skills:
    Industry work experience in ArcSight ESM.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
