    WWCM has an opening for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO).The role of the CFO is to participate in developing new business and assist the CEO and COO in the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, identifying new funding opportunities, and determining the cost-effectiveness of future service delivery.

    It will include working with other key senior persons of the organization to ensure financial and operational success through cost-benefit analysisand compliance with all related contractual and programmatic requirements.

    The CFO shall plan, coordinate, and manage the financial actions taken by the organization to initiate and execute government contracts.

    The CFO will serve as the WWCM single point-of-contact with the program office for financial management matters and contract-level issues.

    The CFO must effectively negotiate differences that may exist between WWCM, our partners, our vendors, and the customer in order to bring together a cohesive/efficiently running development and maintenance organization from a financial perspective.

    The CFO must provide leadership and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, lead, direct, and manage a large organization.

    The CFO will interface with senior leaders and directors to help maintain and sustain critical infrastructure. Additionally, the CFO serves as a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the COR.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide financial strategy recommendations to the leadership teamMeet with the CEO to discuss the best practices for company finances and develop strategic plans to improve the companys overall financial healthOversee all financial decisions, such as budgeting and auditingProvide leadership and management to the financial departmentSupport financial department in developing short and long term financial goalsServe as a key point of contact for financial department and auditorsIdentify and address potential financial risks for the companyImplement strategies and systems to improve financial performanceReview financial reports and determine methods to reduce costs, by preparing and analyzing financial statements and profit and loss reportsOversee the reconciliation of income and expense reportsTake control of financial records and documentation by designing financial models that will benefit different operating initiativesAttend Board and subcommittee meetings regularly and provide useful/necessary financial inputs on various parametersSupervise the finance department and ensure that all activities are current and updatedTraining and increasing awareness and knowledge related to financial management matters across the organizationPrepare financial data including annual financial reporting, corporate revenue/expense reporting, press releases, development, and monitoring contract/grant and organizational budgets

    Minimum Requirements:
    Must have a Masters Degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent business experience10+ years of experience for a major company or division of a large corporationExperience in partnering with an executive team and possess a high level of written and oral communication skillsDemonstrate integrity, respect, and a commitment to excellence, collaboration, agility, and diversityExperience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasksExperience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organizationExperience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute in accordance with approved plansAbility to collaborate with technical staff and customers in forming strategies to improve performance, reliability, and cost effectivenessExperience with large scale information sharing between teams across multiple locationsExperience mentoring staff in order to maintain high levels of performance and positive morale

    Desired Qualifications:
