JOB – EC&I Engineer
LOCATION - Tampa, FL
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- $100,000 - $130,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
My client – an international Engineering and Systems Integration company are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join their team on a Full Time, Permanent basis near Tampa, FL.
The ideal candidate will have strong Electrical Design experience for full Instrumentation systems; and ideally experience in working through full project lifecycle phases for clients across a range of industries.
The EC&I Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
MS or BS in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical Software (although others will be considered)
Demonstrable experience of Electrical Control Panel Design.
Strong P&ID experience.
Costing and Estimation experience for Electrical Panel BOMs.
Ideally full project lifecycle experience.
Process Industry background.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
The EC&I Engineer's role will involve:
Design and Development of Production Machinery and full systems within process based industries (Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Petro-Chemical, Cosmetic etc).
Ensuring compliance with directives and standards of systems throughout the Design process.
Costing and Estimation for BOMs.
Assessment of customer requirements and delivery of bespoke products to given specifications.
Taking part in Design Review Meetings.
Travel throughout North America to customer sites.
Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks and projects as required.
