    Compensation Overview


    The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.

    The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.

    As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

    Salary Range
    $53, $88,200.00

    What Is the Opportunity?

    The Analyst, Global Security Operations is responsible for 24/7 monitoring of the safety and welfare of all Travelers campuses, owned and leased spaces as well as the health and safety of all employees while they are home, traveling, or in an office


    Responsibilities include:

    • Monitoring the Global Security Operations Center life safety systems, building systems and take appropriate action to keep all systems running smoothly.
    • Analyze information on ongoing events, such as fire, natural disasters, national events, etc. that could potentially impact an employee's home, travel or work and triaging that information to appropriate parties for resolution.
    • First point of resolution for internal and external calls regarding emergencies, misconduct, investigations, cyber inquiries and fielding them to appropriate parties.
    • Responds to emergency calls and emergency requests for service. Coordinates the activities of security officers. This position has direct impact on business resiliency for the company and is based full time in our Omaha office Must be able to cover all shifts, holidays and overtime, as needed.
    What Will You Do?

    Monitor, analyze and triage life safety alarms, natural disasters and incidents using data from internal and external sources, that may impact the business, employees or its' partners at corporate headquarters, field offices, while traveling or at home.

    Monitors and responds to a variety of systems supporting the Operations Center. Ensures that all systems are performing properly; coordinates maintenance as necessary. Works in conjunction with vendors to resolve performance related problems.

    Works with the hardware and software of the systems and testing of the systems for the US and International operations.

    Dispatches security officers and law enforcement in response to alarms & incidents.
    Generates reports and must stay current with equipment.
    Conforms to corporate security standards and controls.
    Develops, tests and implements procedures for security systems within the Control Center.
    Ensures security manuals are kept up to date and all procedures are accurately documented.
    Provides peer coaching. Clarifies any questions concerning equipment, problems, or procedures, hardware and/or software changes and their effects on the operation.
    Creates and changes security records on all appropriate systems.
    Programs, tests and audits alarm schedules for the enterprise.
    Provides after-hours on-call security administration support.
    Promotes security system awareness among field site locations.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Certificates/Security Clearances/Other

    Two years' experience in a Security Operations environment or related required (personal protection/investigations)

    Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

    What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
    Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related experience preferred.
    Four years' experience in a security Global Security Operations environment or similar size and complexity preferred.
    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Knowledge on how to operate a PC, video equipment, Access Control platforms, elevator intercom systems, and building page and fire systems.

    Specialized training in security, fire protection, military police or law enforcement.
    Good public relations and communication skills required, oral and written.
    In depth knowledge of security systems.
    Ability to operate and train on Global Security Operations Center equipment.

    What is a Must Have?
    Two years' experience in a Security Operations environment or related required (personal protection/investigations)
