    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with night shifts and advanced fetal monitoring certification required.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
    • Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
    • Care for laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced department
    • Assignment length is 13 weeks
    • Deliver patient-centered care throughout labor and delivery, including monitoring and supporting mothers and infants
    • No local candidates accepted; must live outside a 50-mile radius
    • Submission requires complete and current documentation with verification of license and certifications

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license required
    • Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
    • Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
    • Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
    • Current NRP Advanced 9th Edition certification from AAP required
    • No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
    • One professional reference required for states except FL and MO, which require two
    • U.S. Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs accepted) and DOB required for consideration
