Join us for a virtual tour Primary Job ResponsibilitiesClean building floors and stairs by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuumingService, clean, and supply restroomClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners such as sponges or squeegeesGather and empty trash and recycling binsFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixturesDust furniture, walls, machines, and other surfaces as requiredStrip, seal, finish, and polish floorsSet up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, and chairs, to prepare facilities for eventsMonitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after use or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not createdDisinfect commonly used items such as door handles and railingsMaintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when neededFollows the proper procedures for the storage and disposal of building site wasteNotifies manager concerning the need for repairs to the building operating systemsEstablishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, ect.

    Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assignedAbility to read, comprehend, and communicate safety labels on chemical containersBasic understanding of sanitation processes and related equipment.

    Function as a team member and support other teamsAbide by company policiesIn order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be requiredOther duties as assignedRequirements 1-3 year's relevant work experience preferredExperience with janitorial equipment preferredWorking EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery and equipment, and vibration.

    The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

    While performing some job duties, there is a risk of electrical shock and other risks associated with a manufacturing environment.

    Job duties may require work in high, precarious places, work in outside weather conditions, and exposure to extreme temperatures in some cases.

    The noise level in the working environment is often loud. Because of this environment and associated risks, use of job appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is required.
