- Facilitate MTSS programming personalized to each student's needs.
- Assist in developing MTSS and 504 plans, and case management.
- Support students on homebound learning plans.
- Act as a liaison between families, school, and community agencies.
- Provide ESL family support liaison.
- Implement the district's educational and instructional goals and objectives.
- Monitor absenteeism & truancy rates and provide early intervention services.
- Support new student transitions and engagement.
- Develop a comprehensive social emotional support plan within the school.
- Offer one-on-one, small group, and whole class interventions/instruction.
- Coordinate referral systems for students, parents, and teachers.
- Assist teachers in developing customized classroom plans.
- Identify and resolve problems between school and community.
- Conduct needs assessments to determine social emotional needs.
- Attend specified staff meetings and in-services.
- Assist in recognizing students' unmet needs and providing consultation to school personnel, parents, and students.
- Develop resources to resolve problems and align with school and community needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Illinois Professional Educator License required.
- ESL endorsement preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interact positively with children and various stakeholders.
- Adaptable, capable of multitasking, and maintaining professionalism.
- Proficiency in office software applications.
- Skilled in collaboration and shared leadership.
- Mental Demands: various cognitive tasks.
- Physical Demands: range of physical activities.
- Environmental Conditions: indoor and occasional outdoor work, with potential travel between school facilities.
