- Prepare operating rooms for surgery by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and available.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans for patients undergoing surgery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, assess patient condition before, during, and after surgery, and provide appropriate care and intervention as needed.
- Coordinate with surgical team members to ensure seamless and efficient operations during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting care provided and any changes in patient condition.
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with best practices and new technologies in perioperative nursing.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and criticalthinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and highstress environment.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
