Below are a few of the responsibilities of this role:
Respond to clients' needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, and other related items accurately and on timeInform and educate customers about coverages, exclusions, and exposures; then assist customers in making appropriate coverage changesPrepare proposals and applications, and also submit them to the insureds and carriersExplain audit procedures to clients and review interim reports for coverage adequacyManage customer retention according to agency protocols as well as any policy changesAssists with preparing/executing bonds as neededUpdate the agency management system with pertinent informationHandle all phone calls and walk in activity by clients, carriers, or othersUse every contact as an opportunity to round the account and review coverages the insured needs; communicate those needs successfullyActively refer clients to Life and Benefits Department and to Personal LinesStrive to make every endeavor effortless for our customers and team membersLocation:Dothan, ALExperience:3-5 years of previous experience in commercial insurance requiredActive Alabama P&C Insurance License requiredSystems:Epic knowledge not required, but similar systems preferredPerks & Benefits:Hybrid opportunities available for qualified candidatesGenerous employee benefits package which includes a robust wellness programEmployee Ownership OpportunitiesCareer progression opportunities - the potential for growth within the company
