- Meet EMS Scope of practice standards.
- Iowa Paramedic certification with a Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement.

Description
The Iowa Clinic has an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team that will staff our new musculoskeletal-focused ambulatory surgery center. Conveniently located near I-80 in Waukee, this state-of-the-art, 21,000 sq. ft. ASC will offer same-day joint replacement, orthopedic, sports medicine, foot and ankle, pain management surgery and a cardiac catheterization lab in an out-patient setting.

A Day in the Life of a Critical Care Paramedic - ASC Cath Lab
This role assesses, monitors, recovers, and provides professional paramedic services for patients of assigned physician(s) following established EMS provider standards. Will provide professional paramedic support in the cardiac catheterization lab by assisting the cardiologist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures on patients and providing quality EMS care, assessing and managing patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, and support interventional radiology as needed.
